The Johnson Silver Minnow is one of my favorite all time lures.  It can be used for virtually any fish, anywhere, at any time.  It doesn’t foul, it doesn’t get caught on anything except fish!  If you are just starting out this is the first piece of tackle you should buy.

These weedless lures are great for catching fish.
